Boundary Peak, Nevada
Elevation: 13,143 feet
Mileage: 7.5 miles
Vertical Gain: 4,400 feet
Route: Nevada side

August 23-24, 2001

Boundary Peak is ranked number 11 of the 50 highpoints on most lists. Having recently climbed # 6, 7, 9, and 10 I can honestly say that this peak is greatly underranked. The scree makes this hike very tiresome and although shorter in distance than Humphreys Peak, it has more vertical, and any climber knows, that means steeper trails and usually slower progress.
